Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that it takes time to find the right church for you and your family. You probably have lots of questions, so we’ve provided answers to some of the more common.

What should I wear?
You’ll notice that our Worship and Leadership team are dressed in formal attire, but you’ll find us dressed in a variety of ways – from formal to casual. Sunday services are typically more “dressy,” whereas Midweek services are more casual.
What are your buildings like?

Each location includes children’s facilities, foyer, auditorium, and classrooms.

Do you offer guest parking?

Yes! You’ll find convenient parking spaces clearly marked for “New Guests” near each entrance. Greeters are also available to help you find your way. Learn more about parking at a specific church location: Monroe, Clinton, and Brooklyn.

How long is Sunday Service?

Our worship services usually last about an hour and a half.

What's a typical Sunday Service like?

A typical worship service is about an hour and a half and includes worship through music and song, an uplifting message given by our pastor, and an altar call. We encourage you to bring your Bible to the church service. You can open your Bible and follow along during the sermon. We also encourage you to take notes on the message and ask us about any questions you have. Discover Solid Rock’s Worship Service

What's a typical Midweek Service like?

Midweek church service is to encourage you in your personal relationship with God by studying the Bible together. This service is different than Sunday service in that it’s typically focused on learning about a passage of scripture, theme, or series. It usually includes a brief song service followed by a lesson. In addition to the main teaching session, we have separate age-appropriate classes for your children.

Is there something for the kids?

Yes! We offer Kidz Rock Children’s Ministry, a fun, dynamic environment for infants to those in 6th grade.

What type of music do you sing?

We worship with easy-to-follow songs in a variety of styles that encourage everyone to participate. We have worship singers and a band to lead as we raise our hands, voices, and hearts together in worship.

Who's the Pastor?

Rev. Timothy Richmond is the pastor of the Monroe and Clinton locations. Rev. Joseph Romero is the pastor of the Brooklyn location.

Are the locations the same?

No matter which of our churches you visit, you’ll have a similar worship experience and hear the same type of teaching. We sometimes do joint events and services.
